Zed was released on November 13, 2012. Players could purchase them with Riot Points or Blue Essence as soon as it dropped in-game.
What Lane Is Zed?
Zed is primarily played in the Middle lane and falls under the Assassin class. However, they can also be effective in the Jungle depending on team composition and matchups. The champion's kit and playstyle make them most suited for it, where they can maximize their impact throughout the game.

How Much Is Zed?
Zed costs 675 Blue Essence or 585 Riot Points. You can purchase them from the in-game store using either currency. Blue Essence is earned through the battle pass and disenchanting champion shards, while Riot Points require real money to obtain.
