Crafted long ago as a plaything for a lonely prince, the enchanted marionette Shaco now delights in murder and mayhem. Corrupted by dark magic and the loss of his beloved charge, the once-kind puppet finds pleasure only in the misery of the poor souls he torments. He uses toys and simple tricks to deadly effect, finding the results of his bloody “games” hilarious—and for those who hear a dark chuckle in the dead of night, the Demon Jester may have marked them as his next plaything.
Shaco was released on July 13, 2010. Players could purchase them with Riot Points or Blue Essence as soon as it dropped in-game.
Shaco is primarily played in the Jungle lane and falls under the Assassin class. However, they can also be effective in the Support depending on team composition and matchups. The champion's kit and playstyle make them most suited for it, where they can maximize their impact throughout the game.
Currently, there are 15 Shaco Skins available in the game. This includes all cosmetic variants released since their launch, the base skin is not included.
Shaco costs 1,575 Blue Essence or 790 Riot Points. You can purchase them from the in-game store using either currency. Blue Essence is earned through the battle pass and disenchanting champion shards, while Riot Points require real money to obtain.
