Malphite was released on September 2, 2009. Players could purchase them with Riot Points or Blue Essence as soon as it dropped in-game.

Malphite is primarily played in the Top lane and falls under the Tank class. However, they can also be effective in the Jungle depending on team composition and matchups. The champion's kit and playstyle make them most suited for it, where they can maximize their impact throughout the game.
How Many Skins Does Malphite Have?
Currently, there are 14 Malphite Skins available in the game. This includes all cosmetic variants released since their launch, the base skin is not included.
How Much Is Malphite?
Malphite costs 225 Blue Essence or 260 Riot Points. You can purchase them from the in-game store using either currency. Blue Essence is earned through the battle pass and disenchanting champion shards, while Riot Points require real money to obtain.
