Prestige skins are League of Legends' most sought-after cosmetics. They feature gold colors and visual effects that set them apart from Epic, Legendary, and Ultimate skins. You can't buy them with Riot Points.

How to Get Prestige Skins

Prestige skins are Mythic skins and can only be obtained in two ways:

1. Hextech Chests and Orbs can drop Prestige skins, but the odds are low. Don't count on this method.

2. Mythic Shop: Mythic Essence is League's premium currency, replacing Gemstones and Prestige Points. You earn it through orbs, capsules, Masterwork Chests, and leveling rewards. Once you have enough, spend it in the Mythic Essence shop to buy the Prestige skin you want.

One rule stays constant across all three methods, which is that you can't buy Prestige skins directly with RP. Riot keeps that restriction in place to maintain their rarity.
