How to Get Exalted Skins in League of Legends (2026)

League of Legends skins are a huge part of what keeps players engaged with the game. With multiple tiers available, from simple 520 RP skins to ultimate and prestige editions.

Riot Games recently added a new tier to the top of this hierarchy. Exalted skins are the newest and the second most exclusive cosmetics in League of Legends, sitting above every other tier with premium features and extreme rarity. In this article, we'll explain what Exalted skins are, what makes them special, and how to get them.

What Are Exalted Skins?

exalted 1

Exalted skins are a new line of cosmetics that dropped on December 11, 2024. The first one was Arcane Fractured Jinx, featuring different forms, custom VFX, and a unique voice-over inspired by the Arcane show.

These skins are made for players who want hyper-exclusive cosmetics. They're the second rarest tier in League of Legends, coming after the Transcendent Skins, going beyond what mythic or ultimate skins offer in terms of exclusivity.

Exalted skins launched with a new gacha-like system called the Sanctum, located in the Loot tab of your client. This system is how you get Exalted skins instead of buying them directly from the shop like other tiers.

How To Get Exalted Skins

exalted 2

Exalted skins can only be obtained from the Sanctum, which you can find in the Loot tab at the top of your client. The Sanctum is a gacha-style system where you use a special currency to draw from a pool of rewards.

You'll use a currency called Ancient Sparks to draw from the reward pool. Each Ancient Spark costs 400 RP, and the good news is that they don't expire. This means if you get the Exalted skin early, you can save your remaining Sparks for future content when new Exalted skins drop.

The system includes bad-luck protection to make sure you're not stuck grinding forever. The base drop rate for an Exalted skin is 0.5%, but you're guaranteed to unlock it within 80 pulls, making your maximum investment around 32,000 RP (roughly $250). Your progress toward the guaranteed drop carries over between different Exalted skin banners, so even if a skin rotates out before you get it, your progress won't reset when the next Exalted skin arrives.

Conclusion

Exalted skins are the most exclusive cosmetics in League of Legends, but they come with a hefty price tag through the Sanctum system. The gacha-style format means you could get lucky early or end up spending the full 32,000 RP for a guaranteed unlock. Consider your budget carefully before diving into pulls, and remember that your Ancient Sparks don't expire, so there's no rush if you want to wait for future Exalted skins.
