A peerless practitioner of lethal shadow magic, Shieda Kayn battles to achieve his true destiny—to one day lead the Order of Shadow into a new era of Ionian supremacy. He wields the sentient darkin weapon Rhaast, undeterred by its creeping corruption of his body and mind. There are only two possible outcomes: either Kayn bends the weapon to his will... or the malevolent blade consumes him completely, paving the way for the destruction of all Runeterra.
Kayn was released on July 12, 2017. Players could purchase them with Riot Points or Blue Essence as soon as it dropped in-game.
Kayn is primarily played in the Jungle lane and falls under the Fighter class. The champion's kit and playstyle make them most suited for it, where they can maximize their impact throughout the game.
Currently, there are 7 Kayn Skins available in the game. This includes all cosmetic variants released since their launch, the base skin is not included.
Kayn costs 1,575 Blue Essence or 790 Riot Points. You can purchase them from the in-game store using either currency. Blue Essence is earned through the battle pass and disenchanting champion shards, while Riot Points require real money to obtain.
